Where we work

Wherever you import, we can benchmark it

Our deepest benchmarks are for Canada and the United States, the busiest trade lanes our team knows best. But brokerage fees are opaque everywhere, and we audit imports into markets around the world.

How it works

A clear answer in three steps

1

Send your invoices

Upload your last few broker invoices, plus a B3 or CBP 7501 entry summary if you have one. It takes about two minutes.

2

We benchmark every line

Our team compares each fee against importers with similar volume, lanes and products, and reviews your broker's service record.

3

You choose what happens next

Take the report to your broker yourself, have us negotiate for you, or let us match you with a better-value broker.

What we review

Price is only half the picture

A cheaper broker who leaves your trucks waiting at the border isn't cheaper. We look at what you pay and what you get for it, so any savings come without slower service.

  • Every fee lineEntry fees, disbursement percentages, bond and RPP charges, and the vague "misc." lines that add up.
  • Volume pricingWhether your rate has kept pace with your shipment count.
  • Border performanceClearance speed, after-hours coverage and how the broker treats carriers, so you're not paying detention.
  • Bonds and RPP securityWhat you pay each year for your customs bond or CARM security, and whether a different setup would cost less. What's normal depends on your volume, so we check it for you.
  • Compliance habitsWhether your broker reviews classifications and flags refund opportunities.

Questions

Frequently asked

Is the audit really free?

Yes. The report is yours to keep whether or not you work with us afterward. We only charge if you ask us to negotiate or find you a new broker, and only as a share of the savings we deliver.

Will you contact my broker?

Not unless you ask us to. The audit is confidential. If you choose to have us negotiate, we'll agree the approach with you first.

Are you a customs broker?

Waybilled compares broker fees and service. We don't file entries or give tariff classification or duty advice. If you switch brokers through us, you work directly with a licensed customs broker.

Do you only cover Canada and the US?

No. Canada and the US are our core markets, where our benchmarks are deepest, but we audit imports into other countries too. Choose "Other" on the form and tell us where you import.

What if my broker is already good value?

Then we'll tell you. A clean audit is useful too: it confirms you're paying a fair price and gives you a benchmark for your next rate review.

What do you do with my documents?

We use them only to prepare your audit and delete the originals within 30 days. Fee amounts may be kept in anonymous benchmarks with your company name, business number and shipment details removed.
